Visiting mass. State House

Michael Huang

This time, we are convinced that we can go to the State House located in Boston. Through the surface of the State House, solemn and honor catches me. At the first glance, the roof was paved by gold in order to get oxidized by the air and acid rain. Accompanied by a blonde tour guide, our trip is much eaiser than before.

The first thing comes to my mind is the fresco of the president, Abraham Lincoln. He is tall and serious with watchful eyes. The size of the State House was not as long as we see today, and it was said that is was expanded by three times than its original size, so that it has today's scale.
Inside the House, there are many statues about previous senators elected in Boston, who had made a huge progress for the development of Boston and the abolishment of illegal laws. In this way, it also shows the local people's recall to them all, and remember what they had done to deliver the voice of freedom to Boston.
Continue walking into the inner part of this house, we are surprised that the place where Congress session take place! Although it is just like a local session layout in Boston, we are still delighted to see the sence. In addition, hopefully, if we can come here on Tuesday or Wednesday (maybe), we are able to see the debate. Surprisingly enough, this room was built several hundred of years ago, it is still used today.
Then we went into the senate house. Unbelievably, the chairman of Boston senator is working inside. Even if we are not able to see him, we get a strong feeling of belief in America. It is not possible for us to meet our mayor at all, nor do we know where he works.
This trip is wonderful and adventurous. It is a big surprise for us to know where the mayor works and get such closed to him, which can not happen in China at all.
