Black Heritage Trail

Last Friday afternoon, we visited the Black Heritage Trail. This trail told us many things about black people's history.
We wallked in the street, tasting the American black people's tradition. This street is brimming with character and historical views. There are yellow gas lamp on both sides of the way. The houses in there are made by red brick. The street is not wide, but it gives us another feeling. Unlike downtown, you cannot feel busy city life in there, but you can feel peace and tranquility. Many dweller plant flowers in front of the house. Fragrance diffuses thourgh the air, make the street more profuse and amazing. When I walked in this street, I think lots of things about the history. In addition, there are historical sites in there, such as the earliest church of black people, the first black people's public school, and so on.

Simth Court Residence give me a deep impression. These residence are built in the different age. In 1880s, many immigrants came to Boston. Demand of cheaper house was increasing, developers tore down the old small brick house, and build the inexpensive "walks-up"house. The residence are not very tall, but it is classical and beautiful. The gray brick house is the shortest house in the Smith Court Residence, but it is as beautiful as other house.
It is a good trip. The bulding in there surprised me. It is amazing.
