Fabulous Little Trip——Mercury

Last Friday, we start from the DOWNTOWN, making a presentation. Along the way, we seem to travel all over the Boston visit all the famous attractions, which is really an eye-opener for us. We are very surprised that a well-known industrial city is full of historical atmosphere.
Although the weather is scorching hot sun, but we have great interest. First we went to the PARK STREET CHURCH. In Boston, few people do not know the church. The tourists will also visit Boston to watch the church. Church is red brick, round the hall, white spire. Her foot green, straight blue sky, like a big exclamation point praise life! Park Street Church was built in 1809, was later hailed as "the classic Christian Architecture".
Mere lists of students looking at doing a speech, my heart has butterflies in their stomachs. Some students are fluent in the appearance of the scenic features and interpretations of history are a perfect rhyme. However, some students forget the content, and had read the manuscript, making me nervous.
Unconsciously, it is my turn lectured. I am going to talk about the Boston Massacre. When preparing the material, I fear that too may be the subject of history, not enough to attract everyone's attention. But what if too many interesting topics to talk about, it will lead to the most important historical part is ignored. Oyin told me, I can tell when the historical background of interlude that interesting story. This allows us understand the history would not be boring. I really gained a lot.
Boston Massacre site is located opposite the old state round the square, laying the ground pebbles. Massacre occurred on March 5, 1770, nine British soldiers were several members of the public ridicule, and another group would like to vent their dissatisfaction with the public on weekdays on the British British troops with stones thrown, resulting in five people have been killed thus incurred the anger of the people, finally broke out shortly after the War of Independence. In order to mourn the five heroic martyrs, and their descendants in particular stone carving map recorded in the history of this tragic past.
After introduction, I am very proud because I am in a similar role of tour guide to introduce some well-known historical events. Even more out of the sweat, treacherous sun, I still feel very well. I'm looking forward to next week's destination.
