We visited the state house in Park Street last Friday. It was a blazing day, but it cannot affect my deep impression of the magnificent construction.
This Massachusetts State House cornerstone was laid on the Fourth of July, 1795, by Governor Sam Adams and Paul Revere, who is the Grand Master of the Masons. This building includes the Doric Hall, Nurses Hall and the Senate Chamber……
The most gorgeous place I think is the Senate Chamber, which has a large hall contain a number of seats. The Senate Chamber was originally used by the Representatives and prior to 1895, that the reason why it called the Senate Reception Room. There are forty state senators who meet in this chamber.
By the way, the current State Chamber is directly under the golden dome. At the base of its inverted rim are three hundred and sixty pieces of carved wood, it looks really lordliness.
