Harvard Square

We visited Harvard Square on last Friday. I was so happy to visited there.

Harvard is one of the most famous university in the world. It was bulit in 1636. It is older than the United State, and has a long history. The wall in Harvard is made in red brick. It is one of the characteristic of Harvard. In the square, I can feel the clam and ancient atmosphere. In addition, the campus is full of reading and studying atmosphere.

When we entered in the campus, we saw the statue of Harvard. Because there are three lies about the statue, so, it has another name which is "Statue of the Three Lies". The first lie is the statue is not Harvard himself. It is a Harvard student. The second is that Harvard is a donator not a founder. The third lie is that Harvard was built in 1636 not 1638. That is interesting.

We saw the biggest library in Harvard. I was amazing about that. It is grand and splendid. I think that must a very good place for study. It was a pity that I cannot enter there for visiting. We also find the most unusual Freshmen dormitory in Harvard. It is one of the oldest dormitory in Harvard. Moreover, the headmaster's office and the VIP room are in the first and second floor. The third and fourth floor are student dormitory. This dormotory is the exclusively dormitory for honoured guest to visit. So, who live in there are the best and the most representative students.

Harvard is my favorite university. I'm very happy about this trip.
