The sixth month trip-- Black Heritage Trail

kiya

We got the Black Heritage Trail on last Friday, which has been the highest price for living location today. Black Heritage Trail has a long history with the black, over time, it become a formal living place for Boston people.

The first impression of this trail is that the boiling weather. All of us felt too hot to walk any more. However, our professor was still full of enthusiasm. I admired her, only to follow with her. Finally, we completed our trail through extremely effort and difficult. A proud feeling welled up from my heart.

There are 14 places we have seen in this Black Heritage Trail, all the places are nice and historical, but the most attractive one is the African Meeting House, which is on Beacon Hill. It was built in 1806 in what once was the heart of Boston’s 19th Century African American Community. Today, this place has changed to its function; it used to organize the showcase of black community. Also, this house was the host to giants in the Abolitionist Movement who were responsible for monumental historical events.

It was really a nice trip which let me know more about Boston although it was really hard and tired.
