MIT museum

Last Friday, we went to MIT museum. Actually, a few weeks ago, one of my friends and I have always tried to find MIT. However, when we went out the subway station, we cannot find the real campus.

This time, we walked a lot and finally found the MIT museum which is very interesting. There are many exhibitions that show the science and technology of MIT. I think most of the exhibitions show the understanding of the meanings of scientific and technological innovation. Also I saw some exhibitions show how fascination the light has. Meanwhile, most of the exhibitions use engineering technology. All the exhibitions really put theories into reality.

On the first floor, there is a shop sells many things are full of knowledge. I saw a watch that attracts me a lot. The numbers that show the time on the surface of the watch do not use the exact numbers as normal. We should calculate a litter bit to get the real number. For example, -8=2-X replaces the number 10. It is interesting since I like math so much. Also, I found a piece of detailed Periodic Table of the Elements. To help my future study in Chemistry, I think it will accompany me to finish my study.

Massachusetts State House

The chance for us to visit the Massachusetts State House is good for us. Besides, we had a tour guide that helped us know this State House better. It is located across from the Boston Common on the top of Beacon Hill where we had trips for many times.
In Massachusetts State House, I saw that rooms for the meetings of senators and representatives. The way to put desks and tables are different. The former room only has one big round table with many chairs around it. I did not see any microphone, maybe because it has less people. The latter room has many chairs and each of the chair and its own desk. On each desk, there is microphone to help senator speak loudly and make sure every can hear.

MIT Museum

This week we went to the MIT museum. At first, I thought the museum tells the tourists the history of the MIT. However when I went into the MIT museum, my mind was totally changed. The museum is about the modern science and technologies. I saw some interesting inventions in the first floor. There is a picture reflected on the wall by a projector. It should be a two dimension picture, but it is a 3D picture. It was so amazing. On the second floor, there were so many artificial robots. We saw different kinds of robots and machines on this floor. The most interesting thing in the museum is the artificial models. These models were made by some metal cogs or wires. They can repeat the some moving trace automatically. One model even needs 13.7 billion years to complete only one rotation. It is really unbelievable. I think this trip is the most interesting one among all the trips. I love this field trip.

the trip to MIT Museum

This week, we have been to MIT museum which is so wonderful because we had chance to see what future looks like, to see the latest technology. We took orange line and then transferred to red line. After twenty minutes, we got off the train. But we still walked more than ten minutes to get to our destination. Although it is a little bit far away from northeastern university, it is totally worthy. The MIT museum is located near MIT university which is a prestigious and world-known university specialized in technology and science. The museum has two floors, and most exhibits are laid out on the second floors. The most impressive exhibit for me is the 3D digital technology which a person could see a three dimensional image without wearing classes. Indeed, it is maybe not the most leading edge technology, but it is so cool. Another interesting exhibit is one located in the first floor. There are seven Albert Einstein pictures on the wall if you see it at the close position from pictures. However, the magical things is if you go father about 20 feet from the wall. You will only see one Einstein picture, and rest of them are other famous people’s portrait.

Last Friday, we went to the MIT Museum, this is my first visit to MIT. MIT Museum, founded in 1971, is the museum of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, located in Cambridge, Massachusetts. It hosts collections of holography, artificial intelligence, robotics, maritime history, and the history of MIT. Its holography collection of 1800 pieces is the largest in the world, though not all of it is exhibited. I saw a lot of artificial intelligence, as the intelligent machine into the world. By this I know a lot of reality, also saw many robots have never before seen high-tech products. Many exhibits are very interesting, for example by different visual effect, can see, I am filled with wonder.
